Skin Problems During Winter? Tips & Tricks To Beat Winter
For those of you lucky enough to experience the snow, unfortunately, you\’re also unlucky enough to experience dry, cracked skin, especially your hands, knuckles, legs, feet and lips. Most of you will pick lotions and moisturizers right off the shelf. What you don\’t know is that most of these products will only worsen your problem.
If you think about it, cracked skin needs water the most. Regular lotions and moisturizers may allude you to the vision of moisturized skin but that\’s all it is-an illusion. The best way to help yourself is to drink a lot of water, at least 8 cups a day. Water is what your body needs to keep your skin hydrated. It\’s the only root solution that will help you achieve beautiful skin.
Another thing to do is to eat healthy foods; eating healthy foods results in healthy skin. What you eat will show on your skin; so if you eat fatty foods, then your skin will become oily, but if you eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables, your skin will be healthy and glowing. Healthy fruits include grapes and melons like watermelons, honeydew and cantaloupes.
Also keep your face clean when going to bed. Before going to sleep, wash off your make up and put on your moisturizer. Treat your face gently and with care. Make sure to invest in a great moisturizer.
The last tip I\’ll give sounds cliche but has more effect on your skin than you think: stress. While noone can eliminate stress completely from their lives, learn to not take it to heart. Stress appears on your skin and face more than you think. Following these tips and tricks, your skin will return to its healthy self.
